Students who have successfully completed this course will gain Associate Membership to our School and are allowed to use the following letters after their name:

HHI (Massage)

Modules Covered

Holistic Massage – 6 weeks
Advanced Sports Massage – 6 weeks
Aromatherapy – Correspondence
Anatomy and Physiology – Correspondence or practical

Course Outcome

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
• Perform a full body massage using techniques from Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Lymph Drainage and Deep tissue.
• Have the necessary knowledge pertaining to work ethics and professionalism when performing a massage
• Have the skill to apply massage specific to the sports environment
• Effectively utilize the different applications of Aromatherapy
• Understand the structure and function of the human body, the inter-relation of the body systems within the human organism and develop an understanding of the principles of human anatomy and physiology

Although you should be able to complete this course in 6 months, open learning gives you the flexibility to study at your own pace within a 2 year period.
As part of this course you must attend 12 weeks of practical classes (once a week) at the college.
