Listening and talking to people is the essence of Psychotherapy. Talking to those with problems that are too heavy for them to bear alone, their problems and anxieties are most likely overwhelming and a great burden to them. Your aim will be to help and understand the disturbed person and resole their situation with compassion and understanding.

Course Outcome

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
• Help and understand the disturbed person and resole their situation with compassion and understanding
• Have the necessary knowledge pertaining to work ethics and professionalism

**Please note that this course does not qualify you as a psychologist what so ever and is purely to help you understand people and your clients.

Although you should be able to complete this course in 3 months, open learning gives you the flexibility to study at your own pace within a 2 year period.
