About the course

The body has the ability to heal itself by its vital force. Disease is the resistance to this force by abnormal conditions in the body, disturbing the normal functioning of its organs and tissues. Naturology is a holistic treatment which approaches the client as a whole and not merely the symptoms of the complaint, by using complementary therapies to restore the balance and obtain optimum health. This course offers the student a comprehensive knowledge to the subjects presented in the syllabus.

Students who have successfully completed this course will gain Associate Membership to our School and are allowed to use the following letters after their name: HHI (Nat)

Course Outcome

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
• Perform a colour therapy treatment
• Perform a massage treatment
• Perform an iridology session
• Perform an acupressure treatment
• Perform a reflexology treatment
• Perform an aromatherapy treatment
• Advise on nutrition
• Have a thorough understanding how herbs can be applied in your daily life as medicinal, culinary and cosmetic uses.
• Have a thorough understanding how flower remedies can be applied in daily life
• Venture into private practice
• Have the necessary knowledge pertaining to work ethics and professionalism when performing therapies

You should be able to complete this course in 12 to 24 months. Open learning gives you the flexibility to study at your own pace within a 2 year period.

As part of this course you must attend a minimum of 12 weeks of practical classes (once a week) at the college. Please view our course schedule.
